I CHRISTIAN GROSS of Unity Township Westmoreland County, Penna Being Sick and weak on body but of Sound mind memory and understanding to make this and declare this to be my will and testament in the manner following, that is to say. I order and direct that all my just debts funeral expences and charges of ___ this my will be in the first place paid and after payment thereof I give and bequeath to my wife the farm on which I now live provided herself & her Son JAMES can pay for the farm what is back on the payment and if my wife ELIZABETH thinks that herself and Son Cannot pay the back payments on the land I order and direct my Executor to Sell the farm or land and authorize him to make a deed in fee Simple to the purchaser and give my wife ELIZABETH the one third of the proceeds of the Sale of Said land. I also give and bequeath to my wife ELIZABETH my gray mare one cow one quitt Hook Stove and the one third of all the grain in the ground in the bushel. I will and bequeath to my daughter ELIZABETH LINDORF one fourth of what may remain of my estate after my wife ELIZABETH gets her part and all my debts funeral expences is paid and the Remainder I will and bequeath to BENJAMIN my Son, and to my Son DANIEL, Son GEORGE, Share and Share alike of the remainder. And I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my Brother JOSEPH GROSS Executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said CHRISTIAN GROSS have to this my last will and testament Set my hand and Seal this Eleventh day of May A.D. 1872.
