I ADAM HORN SENIOR of Hempfield Township in Westmoreland County & State of Pennsylvania make herewith my last will and testament viz. as follows what I leave to my children how they shall divide it & disputes should arise among which I hope not they shall not go to law but they shall choose impartial men & whoever shall not agree to this shall be excluded they may choose three, four or five men & whatever way they may divide shall be conclusive better as no fee lawyers. First ELIZABETH CATHARINE QUARCKLE what her share of my estate should be is hereby divised to her Children from their Grandfather HORN but should their Mother become bereft of a husband & in consequent want then she shall have power to make use of her Fathers legacy in proportion to her necessity otherwise it shall be divised to her children forever. 2nd ANNA MARGRETHA HENRY what her husband his received from has received from his Father in law consists in papers & notes but there shall be no interest charged thereon unless I should be in want during my lifetime. 3rd my Son JOHN ADAM HORN if I through this sale of necessary stay & finish my life with him it will probably be a large amount after my dead deminish the sum he stand indebted to me but should I change my mind or intention it (this debt) will show itself my notes and charges in the book. 4th ELIZABETH KERSHNER her legacy consists in notes & charges against her but there shall be no interest charged thereon unless I should be in want during my lifetime. 5th ANNA MARIA BRENEN what she received from her Father consists in notes and charges against her but there shall be no interest charged thereon unless I should be in want during my lifetime. 6th ANNA CATHARINE MASER what she received from her father consists in notes and charges against her but there shall be no interest charged thereon unless I should be in want during my life time. I have also further chosen three respectable men my son JOHN ADAM HORN, and PHILIP HECK SENOR of the County and state as mentioned before to be my sole Executors of this my last will and testament & further it is my will that my Son JOHN ADAM shall have two shares out of my remaining estate as I am most troublesome to him I hope further in conclusion that you will after my dead in love & peace divide the little that God has intrusted to us. Personally came before me the subscriber Register in and for said County ENOCH CRAWFORD, JACOB SMITH Esquire who on their solemn oaths deposeth and sayeth that they were present and saw ADAM HORN SENER who is now deceased sign seal & acknowledge the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed that at the time of his so doing he was of sound mind and memory that they signed as witnesses in his presents & at his request and that the signatures of these deponants is in their own hands writing.
